Disney Villains Wedding Reception

I got married in Sept. 2011. It was the best day of my life.

We really wanted to do something different for the tables at the reception.  Disney Villains was my husband's idea, I loved it and I started work on drawing each character.  These were to be the markers not only on the table but also on the table plan as guests entered the reception.  I found it difficult to find good references I liked from the internet, so I watched the films, pausing it and used this as my guide.  I had to take some artistic licence, but I think I captured the characters well.  After the wedding I even sold the Shere Khan watercolour when I was raising money for Cancer Research UK.

Each table had its own decoration inspired by the character.  I brought an Aladdin's lamp from amazon for £10, I searched ebay for shell shaped vases for the Ursula table
I never spent more than £10 per table.  I even brought a greek vase for £1 on ebay for the Hades table.

Next I tried to theme the wedding favours around each character. This was a little more difficult.  I got blue and white mints for Hades, turkish delight for Jafar and chocolate money for Prince John.  These were all in jars which guests could help themselves to.
